The Capital District Track & Field Officials’ Organizati­on:

will be holding new officials’ certificat­ion clinic classes at Colonie High School’s Room 111 starting on Monday, January 29th at 6:00PM to train prospectiv­e candidates for the 2018 outdoor track and field season. Anyone who is interested in becoming a NYS certified track and field official should e-mail mtherrien@ffcsd.org to register for the clinic and to get additional, specific informatio­n. Sage Field Hockey Prospect Camp:

The Sage Colleges’ field hockey program will hold the program’s second Prospect Camp on Sunday, Jan. 28from 9:30a.m. to 2:30p.m. at the Armory at Sage College of Albany. The cost of the clinic is $45per camper.

Sage Spring Break and Summer Basketball camps back:

The Sage men’s basketball Team will once again host a pair of camp weeks for boys with their Spring Break Boys’ Basketball Camp and their Sage Boys’ Basketball Summer Camp!

The Spring Break Boys’ Basketball Camp will take place in Kahl Gym in Albany, New York, April 2-6, 2018, while the Boys’ Sum- mer Camp will run from June 2529also in Kahl Gym in Albany. The Sage Gators’ Basketball Camps are designed to help players develop the skills needed to be successful in today’s competitiv­e game of basketball. The camps are for boys ages 7-15and will include competitiv­e 5vs. 5 play, daily contests, individual instructio­n, and great giveaways! Sage Colleges’ Field Hockey Prospect Clinic:

Will be held Sunday, January 28from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30p.m. at the Armory at Sage College of Albany. The cost of the clinic is $45per camper.

The clinic is open to girls, high school seniors, juniors and sophomores, graduating in 2018, 2019and 2020.

All participan­ts will be exposed to college level training. There will also be small sided games as well as a skills session. There will be a certified athletic trainer on duty throughout the clinic. The clinic will be held indoors at the Armory at Sage Albany on a turf field.

The Sage Colleges’ Softball Team clinics:

The clinics will provide an opportunit­y for players to get an early jump on their skills for the upcoming 2018season. The clinic will be open to girls, ages 8-17and will feature sessions in fielding, hitting and pitching. The clinic will take place on February 10 and February 17in the Neff Athletic center located in Troy. The fielding session will run from 2to 3p.m. Hitting session 3to 4 p.m. Pitching session 4to 5p.m. (Pitchers must bring their own catchers. Pitchers who use an 11-inch ball must bring their own ball. Check-in is 15minutes prior to each session. Pre-registrati­on for the hitting and fielding combinatio­n is $45 with the pitching session $35. Walk-up cost for a field session is $30, hitting session $30. There is no pitching walk-up availabili­ty.

The Sage Softball clinic will offer the opportunit­y to learn and practice the fundamenta­l skills, techniques, and strategies necessary for the game of softball. Clinic will include your choice of hitting, fielding, or both. Each player is responsibl­e to bring her own bat, glove, helmet, catching gear, water bottle and sneakers.

Fall lacrosse for men 16and up:
