WYNANTSKIL­L - T. Stewart Hubbard Jr., 84, died peacefully Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Rosewood Rehabilita­tion & Nursing Center in East Greenbush. Born in Troy, he was son of the late Thomas Stewart Hubbard Sr. and Julia Russin Hubbard. He had resided in Troy area all his life, attended Troy schools and earned his bachelors degree from Siena College in Business Administra­tion. Stewart was an assistant director of public relations for the N.Y.S. Department of Health retiring in 1995. At the age of 70, he obtained his realtor license and started his own real estate company. He was a Navy Veteran serving during the Korean War. Stewart was a lifetime member of the Sullivan Jones VFW Post 7466 in Poestenkil­l. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing the banjo, and dedicated NY Mets fan. He was very proud of his children and grandchild­ren. Survivors include his 3 sons, T. Stewart Hubbard III, Albany, Robert S. (Cynthia)Hubbard, Brunswick, and William S. (Yvette) Hubbard, Averill Park; and his beloved grandchild­ren, Eliza G. and Jessie L. Hubbard Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Monday, from 4 - 7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30AM at St. Henry’s Church 39 Old Route 66 Averill Park. with Rev. Thomas F. Holmes , Pastor, officiatin­g. Interment will be in St. Basil’s Cemetery Watervliet in the spring. The family would to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Rosewood Rehabilita­tion & Nursing Center for their loving kindness and care.
