HUDSON HALL: Hudson Hall opens the 2018season with an exhibition curated by the Hudson-based creative team behind The Tenth, a biannual publicatio­n documentin­g the history, culture, ideas and aesthetics of the black LGBTQ community. HUMAN LIBRARY: Now in its seventh year, Williams College’s Human Library is emphasizin­g stories of people who are in the process of change. This year’s collection holds upwards of 30“living books”—students, staff, faculty, and members of the community who volunteer to spend 30minutes sharing their unique story and engage in a one-on-one conversati­on with each “reader.” Together the book and reader discuss their experience­s and exchange questions. This diversity ranks the Helderberg area as one of the most significan­t herpetofau­nal areas in the state.
