HELEN LOUISE MADDEN MALONEY
LOUDONVILLE - Helen Louise Madden Maloney, 89, of Loudonville, NY passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on March 9, 2018. Helen was born on August 31, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri along with her twin Shirley Ann. A graduate of the College of Saint Rose, she was very proud to have worked at the FBI and as a third grade teacher at Miller Hill School in Averill Park before she married. After having her four children she began a career in real estate that spanned almost twenty years working with Roberts Real Estate. Her pride and joy was her family. She brought us all together at a table set with gourmet meals where family lore, loving laughter and the true meaning of family was felt. Thanksgiving’s was especially exceptional for the Maddens as they were always spent together. Christmas was magic whether the gifts were epic or oranges and nuts in our stockings because Mom was magic. She love to swim in Burden Lake because the water was always beautiful. She loved to walk Siena College with her sidekick Gatsby. Her life was her family. She is survived by her three daughters, Suzanne Maloney (Rick Pfielsticker), Jacqueline Knox (Glenn), and Anne Pascucci ( John), her grandchildren, Ryan Maloney VanUithuizen, Nathaniel VanUithuizen, Kimberly Brunner (Jordan) and Christopher Knox and her six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Michael G. Maloney, her son, Michael J. Maloney, her identical twin, Shirley M. Hirsch, her brother Francis A. Madden and her parents Mr. and Mrs. Francis A. Madden. The funeral service for Helen will be held on Wednesday morning at 9 am at the Wm Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third Street, Troy and at 10 am at St. Pius X Church, Crumite Road, Loudonville where a mass Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Troy.
