Hayner baseball catching clinic:
The Sports Barn/Hayner Brothers Baseball Academy in Halfmoon will be conducting a special two day catching clinic for ages 12-16focusing on the essential skills for successful baseball catcher play, specifically pitch receiving, throwing and blocking. The clinic will be held on Saturday March 31and April 7from 9:30to 11: a.m. and will be under the direction of Norm Hayner. The cost is $99. Boys need full catchers equipment each session. Golden Goal College Cup 2018:
For men April 21and women April 22designed with the spring college season in mind. The tournament is an 8v 8 tournament that allows competing colleges to put their spring training to the test against opponents throughout the day. 40-minute game times, guaranteed four games with a championship final. scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend, are on sale now for participants in the museum’s Membership Program and go on sale Monday, March 12to the general public online and via phone. Hall of Fame members Rollie Fingers, Randy Johnson, Phil Niekro, Tim Raines and Ozzie Smith will be joined by an additional Hall of Famer and recently retired players representing all 30major league teams for a seven-inning legends game on Saturday, May 26at Cooperstown’s historic Doubleday Field.

Sage Spring Break and Summer Basketball camps back:
The Sage men’s basketball Team will once again host a pair of camp weeks for boys with their Spring Break Boys’ Basketball Camp and their Sage Boys’ Basketball Summer Camp! The Spring Break Boys’ Basketball Camp will take place in Kahl Gym in Albany, New York, April 2-6, 2018, while the Boys’ Summer Camp will run from June 25-29also in Kahl Gym in Albany.
The Sage Gators’ Basketball Camps are designed to help players develop the skills needed to be successful in today’s competitive game of basketball. The camps are for boys ages 7-15and will include competitive 5vs. 5play, daily contests, individual instruction, and great giveaways!

Clifton Park Youth Triathlon Club:

The Sage Colleges’ department of athletics is set to hold its annual Gator Golf Classic on Friday, June 1, 2018at Colonie Golf and Country Club. All proceeds dedicated to enhancing the collegiate experience of our student-athletes.

March boys’ pre-season lacrosse program:
Capitalland Lacrosse will be running a March boy’s lacrosse program for all beginner, novice, and advanced skill level players in grades Kindergarten thru 9th on Sunday evenings starting March 4th and ending on March 25th at the Sportsplex of Halfmoon. Each session will have a half an hour of skills & drills training followed by a half an hour scrimmage. Players will be separated by age and skill level and there is an option for a player to play/pay per night if they can’t commit to the full season.
