BALLSTON SPA 10, GUILDERLAN­D 9>> Jake Manderson singled with a one-strike count to drive in Evan Fox for the gamewinnin­g hit in the bottom of the ninth inning Tuesday afternoon at home.

Luke Gold shined on the mound and at the plate for the Scotties, earning the win pitching the final 3and 2./3rds of the contest. He allowed on run on two hits, walking four and striking out four in extended relief. At the plate, the Boston College commit went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and four RBI courtesy of a pair of home runs.

Evan Fox, Chance Checca and Max Bumford all went 2-for-4on the day for Ballston Spa with Fox and Checcca each hitting a pair of doubles. 9-3in Suburban Council action.

Danny Watson went 2-for3for Columbia in the win with a double and driving in three runs on the day. CBA was led by Adam Zebrowski’s 2-for-3afternoon. ALBANY ACADEMY 16, CATHOLIC CENTRAL 10 >> Albany Academy takes a high scoring affair against Catholic Central. Ethan Duda was credited with the victory. Duda also helped his own cause at the dish, going 5-for-6. Dan Moshier also collected a double for Academy. Paul Barber doubled for the Crusaders. LA SALLE 5, VOORHEESVI­LLE 4>> Jon Weber helped his own cause, recording a double, single, run scored and the Cadets victory. Garrett Myers doubled, singled and locked down the save. with a 2-2count at the plate. Greenville was led by Seamus Kappel with a 2-for-3day with a run scored.

Maple Hill’s leadoff batter Christian Beber went 3-for-4with a run scored and Connor Hall went 2-for4as Nick Butler and Tyler Hanrahan made the most of their plate appearance­s, each hitting home runs.

In their Suburban Council match-up, the Eagles reeled off six goals in the fourth quarter and pulled away from the Blue Streaks, 14-8. Ethan Sheraw potted four goals for the Eagles. Ben Reilly, Liam Ferris and P.J. Namkoong all registered a hat trick for Bethlehem. Andrew Lipscomb and Ryan Flatley both notched a pair of markers for Saratoga. SHENENDEHO­WA 17, COLUMBIA 7>> Drew Liguori and Pat Nagy both posted four markers apiece for the Plainsmen in victory. Owen Stefanko tallied twice for the Blue Devils. BURNT HILLS 16, ALBANY 0>> Lauren Hopsicker scored tallied four goals and dished out six assists in Tuesday’s win over Albany High. Mary Kate Lescault added the hat trick with Carly Szczepania­k, Allie Connally and Caroline Muller each throwing in two goals each. Erin McClernan had two goals and an assist in the win. Abbie McHerron and Anna Butler combined for three saves. HOOSICK FALLS 8, HOOSIC VALLEY 1>> Marissa Landry went 2-for-4with a pair of RBI and a run scored, Lily Abbot was 1-for-3with an RBI and a run scored, Brianna Jones was 1-for-2 with an RBI in helping the Panthers offense pounce on the Indians. Abigail Philpott went the distance with seven K’s in seven frames, yielding only one run, on five hits and one walk. Perry was 2-for-3in the losing effort for Hoosic Valley. also singled and knocked in a run. Salvadore fanned three in the circle. Boueris doubled and drove in a run for Stillwater.

BALLSTON SPA 13, GUILDERLAN­D 0>> Ana Gold crushed a grand slam, Angelina Stile and Paige Davis also went deep in the Scotties 13-0victory.

In the first, Megan McMahon and Stile coaxed walks. Sarah Pritchard helped her own cause with a hard hit ball off the arm of Dutchmen pitcher Alyssa Burg, which would score McMahon. During the third, Pritchard reached on a hit by pitch. Davis and Jillian Nitchman would both single loading the bases for Caroline Srokowski. Srokowski singled, scoring Hilko, who was running for Pritchard. Gold crushed a two out grand slam putting the Scotties up 8-0. McMahon followed with a double and Stile hit a two-run homer. Thompson belted a double, Pritchard singled and Davis rocked a three-run homer, the first of her varsity career.
