Caila Benning pitched seven innings, recording four K’s and six walks. Fitzmauric­e registered two K’s. For the Tigers, Jordan Brown was 3-for-5 with two doubles, one run and one RBI. Cohoes’ Haleigh Burgess fanned seven across nine frames and a walked four. For the Witches, Courtney Fraher gave the ball a ride with her broomstick, smashing a three-run jolt. Lauren Maines lashed three singled and drove in two. Helen Smith doubled, singled and plated a run. Jen Wilbur also doubled for Greenwich. Lily McCaulliff­e was credited with the victory. For the Indians, Victoria Dupuis collected a pair of singles. Abigial Philpott took the loss for the Panthers, surrenderi­ng six runs on 13 hits over seven innings, striking out two and walking zero. Plenty of Bengals were swinging the bats well. Kylie Galipeau went 3-for- 4, Mckenna Ryan went 2-for3, Gia Bucciero went 2-for-3 and Lexi D’Agostino went 2-for-3. During the second stanza, Sarah Pritchard helped her own cause and led off with a single. Following a walk, a Jillian Nitchman single, coupled with a two-run double by Caroline Srokowski, making it 2-0 Scotties. In the fourth, Leah Debboli singled to lead off for the Warriors. Kelsey Mohl sacrificed Debboli over. With runners on the corners following a single by Bryanna Agans, a team error was committed by the Scotties which allowed Debboli to score. Agans would advance on the error and score on the next play with a throw- ing error by Pritchard, squaring the contest at two. The Warriors scored one in the fifth on hits by Merissa Nagel and Debboli, giving the Warriors their first advantage of the day at 3-2. In the sixth, the scotties changed up the game. Srokowski led off the inning with a double to right center. Sgambati moved her over to third, where Ana Gold plated Srokowski. The Scotties proceeded to get on with a fielder’s choice and score on a single by Angelina Stile. Grace Thompson was intentiona­lly walked loading the bases for Pritchard, who proceeded to collect a two-run hit. Renee Parry cracked a three-run home run and plated four on the day. Sam Finkle doubled, singled and drove in three. Hollis Guilianell­e fanned seven and recorded the victory. Sam Finkle also had a big day for Hoosic Valley, doubling, wrapping three singles and three-RBI. Haley Maxon singled twice for Berlin. LA SALLE 21, COHOES 1 » In rain-shortened affair which lasted six innings, the Cadets cruised to victory over the Tigers. Dermot McDonough crushed a home run, singled twice, drove in four and scored four runs in the Cadets rout. Noah Grandjean also belted a home run, singled twice, plated three and scored three runs for La Salle. Winning pitcher Tim Geddis allowed four hits. Paul Jewitt and Troy Snyder each singled for the Tigers.
