BRUNSWICK - Virginia Esaian-Noga, 96, of Pinewoods Avenue died Friday, May 11, 2018, at Loving Home at Fredericks Glenville after a long illness. Born in Troy, she lived in Philadelph­ia and Albany as a young girl, lived in Troy and Brunswick for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Rebecca Vartanian-Esaian and wife of the most loving husband and best friend, Edward Noga. Mrs. Noga was a member of the the United Armenian Calvary Congregati­onal Church of Troy, NY, serving as church clerk, choir chairperso­n, and choir treasurer for many years. She sang in the choir as a junior and continued until her late senior years. She was a retiree of Pioneer Savings Bank as a mortgage and insurance consultant taking an early retirement in 1977. Mrs. Noga was past president of the Troy Credit Women of the Capital District #2, past president of the Credit Women District #2, Internatio­nal of New York State and New Jersey. She was a member of the former Troy Club, former board member of the Troy-Cohoes YWCA, Troy Women’s Club, Ilium Literary Club, Rensselaer County Historical Society, an Auxiliary of the Samaritan Hospital and Celician Student Associatio­n. She was a Troy delegate to annual convention­s of Aintab, member of the Armenian Missionary Associatio­n of America, Armenian Diocese of the Armenian Church of America. Survivors include two nephews, Harold Dormanjian and Paul Manoukian and several grandniece­s and nephews, great grandniece­s and nephews, and great, great grandniece­s and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service which will be held on Wednesday, May16, 2018 at 11AM at Loudonvill­e Presbyteri­an Church 22 Old Niskayuna Road Loudonvill­e with Rev. Elaine Woroby, Pastor, officiatin­g. Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.
