Illegal tobacco: Imran Sadiq, 52, of Latham was arrested May 16in Troy and charged with possessing and transporting tobacco without paying taxes, a misdemeanor.
Drug possession: Alex D. Kerpel, 36, of Killington, Vt., was arrested May 16in Brunswick and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Mischief: Philip Q. Quandt, 50, and Kristen P. Wright, 51, both of Watervliet were arrested May 16in Watervliet and charged with second-degree criminal mischief, a felony, second-degree menacing and second-degree reckless endangerment, misdemeanors. Grand larceny: Cameron M. Breedlove, 27, of Rensselaer was arrested May 17in Rensselaer and charged with third-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records, felonies. Aggravated DWI: Thomas A. Shudt, 33, of Waterford was arrested May 17in Brunswick and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and DWI, misdemeanors. Patronizing prostitution: Jeffrey M. Hewitt, 37, of Watervliet was arrested May 16in Clifton Park and charged with second-degree patronizing prostitution, a misdemeanor. Patronizing prostitution: Warren L. Lashway, 47, of Nassau was arrested May 16in Clifton Park and charged with third-degree patronizing prostitution, a misdemeanor. Felony DWI: Christopher J. Taylor, 30, of Waterford was arrested May 18in Clifton Park and charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol level greater than .08percent, felonies because of a previous drunken driving conviction within the past 10 years.
