ALEXANDER HAMILTON: As part of The Fort Plain Museum’s American Revolution Mohawk Valley Conference, the Museum invites the public to the Conference’s kick-off event, “Alexander Hamilton’s Revolutionary War Service” by Michael E. Newton. Also, representatives from the Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society will be on hand to discuss the organization and the start of a new Central NY Chapter. BASF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CLASSROOM: BASF will conduct an Open House event on Thursday, June 7, from 6p.m. until 8p.m. at the BASF Environmental Educational Classroom and Wildlife Habitat, located at 70Riverside Avenue, Rensselaer. The Open House is being conducted to help educate the community and provide information about the $40million investment to remediate a portion of the Hudson River. Attendees will be provided information about the remediation, including the remedial action plan design, mitigation efforts related to potential impacts and regulatory documents related to data and studies among other information.
