NORTH BENNINGTON OUTDOOR SCULPTURE SHOW: The 21st Annual North Bennington Outdoor Sculpture Show will host the opening party for this year’s exhibition on Saturday, July 7, from 4 p.m. - 8p.m. at the Vermont Arts Exchange campus, 48 Main Street (next door to the Post Office and across the street from the North Bennington Train Depot) and will feature music by Mark Legrand and his Pick Up Band. THACHER NATURE CENTER: Weeding is For the Birds, 9:30 a.m. - noon. Assist in improving the field habitat to support Bobolinks and other field nesting birds. Join staff and volunteers in removing invasive Wild Parsnip. It is easy to identify and remove. Wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt, bring loppers if possible, and bring water and a snack.
