TERRY STEVENS

Troy- Terry J. Stevens, 62, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 unexpectedly but peacefully at his home. Born March 31, 1956 in Troy to the late Noel and Elizabeth (Ferris) Stevens. He was a graduate of Catholic High in Troy and worked for Time Warner for 20 years. Terry was always grateful to his cousin Janie, who introduced him to Susan Currier, who he later married on October 14, 1978. He was a lover of music, enjoyed playing the guitar and was an avid fan of the Beatles. He enjoyed going for rides in his corvette, always had a Pepsi in his hand. Terry loved his dogs, but most of all loved his family and spending time with them. In addition to his parents, his brother, Anthony predeceased him. Survivors include his wife of 39 years Susan (Currier) Stevens of Troy; three daughters, Andrea Stevens of Troy, Rebecca Stevens of Troy and Angela (Jim) Robertson of Colonie; grandchildren, Brianna, Isaiah, Destiny, Nicholas and Natalie; aunts, Sophie Hansa and Louise Ferris both of Glens Falls; along with many beloved cousins. Funeral services will be held 11:30 am on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Singleton Sullivan Potter Funeral Home, 407 Bay Road, Queensbury. Burial will follow in St. George’s Cemetery, South Glens Fall. Family and friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home. Donations in Terry’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
