RETYPING IRONWEED: “Tim Youd: Retyping Ironweed by William Kennedy,” a special performance by Los Angelesbased artist Tim Youd, concludes at the Albany Institute of History and Art. Employing the same make and model typewriter used by the author Youd will retype “Ironweed” by Pulitzer Prize winning author, journalist, and screen writer William Kennedy from noon - 4:45p.m. This event is free and open to the public. SUSTAINABILILTY STROLL: Join an environmental educator on Saturday, July 21, at 11 a.m. at Peebles Island State Park for a conservation-themed walk to learn about Leave No Trace. TROY FLEA: About 40vendors sell their wares at the flea in Riverfront Park Sunday, July 8, from 10a.m. to 3 p.m.. There are new, exciting vendors, as well as returning favorites this year providing a great mix of handmade and vintage items keeping the eclectic feel the market is known and loved for. MILHAM PLANETARIUM: Williams College invites you to experience the wonders of our universe at the Milham Planetarium, located inside the Old Hopkins Observatory. Astronomy students at the college will host free shows for the public on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 8p.m. beginning on June 5 and running through August 9. Audiences will be treated to shows from the highprecision Zeiss Skymaster ZKP3/B opto-mechanical planetarium projector. Each show lasts approximately 50 minutes.
