Pink Bows on Broadway to aid area nonprofit

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. » Broadway will be lined with bows once again this fall for the sixth annual Pink Bows on Broadway campaign to benefit local nonprofit Floydwarri­ors.com, Inc.

With a mission of “Helping Families Cope with Cancer, One Household at a Time,” Floydwarri­ors.com is once again selling pink tribute bows for its annual fundraisin­g drive, Pink Bows on Broadway.

This campaign gives donors the opportunit­y to recognize heroes who have battled cancer or fought alongside someone who has for a donation of $50 for individual­s or $250 for businesses to sponsor a bow.

Pink bows will be prominentl­y displayed on Broadway in downtown Saratoga Springs for the entire month of October. Each bow is accompanie­d by a tribute card that allows the sponsor to celebrate individual heroes; including survivors, lost loved ones, physicians, fundraisin­g warriors, special caregivers, family/ friends, and any other person that deserves recognitio­n for their involvemen­t in the war against cancer.

All proceeds from the 2018 Pink Bows on Broad- way campaign will benefit floydwarri­ors.com, a 501 c3 nonprofit organizati­on aiming to provide help in the home for families with members undergoing cancer treatment. Assistance is provided by way of meals, cleanings and support of childcare. Floyd warriors. com was founded in 2010 and for the past several years has delivered its mis- sion along with the phrase “Dinner is Done, Dishes are Clean, and The Kids are OK!”

The nonprofit is also known for its popular signature “Project Easter Bunny” event. In the spirit of helping with the kids, this program hosted by floyd warrriors. com provides hundreds of large Easter baskets to cancer patients all across the Capital Region.

Purchasing a “Bow of Support” from the upcoming campaign will help floydwarri­ors.com to continue providing help in the home and beloved Easter baskets to families battling cancer.

All sponsorshi­ps are due by Sept. 28. The bows can be purchased online at floydwarri­ors.com.

Requests for bows also may be sent directly to floydwarri­ors.com c/o 582 Rt. 9P Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Those interested should include their name/ business name, the individual the donation is in honor of and wording for the sponsorshi­p card that accompanie­s the bow. Example: “In Memoriam of” or “Bow of Support.”
