HOOSICK FALLS 5, NORTH WARREN 0>> Hoosick Falls stays undefeated with the win over North Warren Monday afternoon. Gracie Lohnes, Jayda Stell-Gulley had goals in the first half and Ayla Fauler, Emily Schnoop, and Lillian Hickey tallied their goals in the second half. North Warren goalie Jadyn Urtz made nine saves and Hoosick Falls’ keeper Zoe Gress made four saves.

COLUMBIA 1, NISKAYUNA 0 >> Columbia’s lone goal from the game came thanks to Liz Cohen in the second half off an assist from Jessy Blackburn. Mady Hogan made six saves for Columbia to get the shut out. Niskayuna goalkeeper­s McGill and LeBlanc made five saves.

SHEN 3, BETHLEHEM 1(OT) >> Shen stays undefeated, now 7-0, with the 3-1win in overtime in penalty shots. Olivia Howard tied the game for Shen at one with 24seconds remaining to push the game to OT. Bethlehem’s Sophia DeFrancesc­o scored the first goal of the game for Bethlehem prior. In the shootout, Olivia Howard and Rachel Sterle both scored while Bethlehem could not beat Shen goalkeeper Abby Danson made 21saves. Bethlehem’s Kate Herrick made 16saves.

GUILDERLAN­D 2, SHAKER 0 >> Guilderlan­d shut out Shaker Monday thanks to goals from Ava Thomson and Katie Daviero. Guilderlan­d led 1-0at the half. Shaker goalie Kassie Egan made 14saves.

SHAKER 257, COLONIE 330 >> Shaker’s win Monday was powered by Brian Cunningham and Bobby Pisinski’s 39’s. Lane Jenkins added a 41to the final for Shaker.

HOOSICK FALLS 4, TAMARAC 1>> Hoosick Fall’s Ryan Bloomer and Matt Smith both shot 41’s to keep Hoosick Falls undefeated, now 12-0this season. Tamarac falls to 5-4. Michael Jacques shot a 48for Tamarac.

COLUMBIA 268, TROY 294 >> Columbia’s win Monday was powered by lead scorer Jason Hahn and his 41. Troy’s leading scorer was Justin Cioffi who shot a 43.

HOOSICK FALLS 4, TAMARAC 1>> The Hoosick Falls Golf team returned to action on Monday with a road match against Tamarac at Frear Park Municipal Golf Course (par 35). The Panthers won by a score of 4-1, led by junior Ryan Bloomer and sophomore Matt Smith, who each shot 41. Top scores for Tamarac included: Michael Jacques 48, Zack Krill 49, Will Ashley 53 and Nate Krill 53. Other notable scores for Hoosick Falls included: Miles Smith 45, Brady Hathaway 51and Aidan Breese 53. The Panthers now lead the league with a record of 12-0.

SHEN 243, GUILDERLAN­D 256>> Shen’s win Monday was powered by Jack Manning’s 37. Guilderlan­d’s Aidan Seery and Kelm Feeney’s 37’s were to no avail in Guilderlan­d’s effort.

GALWAY 12, CANAJOHARI­E 3 >> Galway’s Ryan Lovelass shot an impressive 33Monday to help Galway earn the win over Canajohari­e. Other good scores for Galway were Nick Zuk and Josh Lovelass’ 46’s and Matt Smith’s 53. Canajohari­e’s top score was Derek Countryman with a 44.

BOYS SOCCER

CAMBRIDGE 1, HOOSICK FALLS 0>> Cambridge’s goal for came early in the first half when Orion Baker-Porazinski fed a ball across the middle and Alex Hommel put the ball away. The rest of the game was played 18 to 18. Cambridge held much of the possession but couldn’t find many goal scoring opportunit­ies. Hoosick Falls found one good scoring opportunit­y when Connor Powers played a ball to the far post to Zaine Becker’s head but he narrowly missed the goal. Both defenses played an excellent game.

BERLIN CENTRAL 4, HOOSIC VALLEY 1>> Addison Colon would open the Berlin scoring with a penalty kick to give Berlin a 1to 0lead. Hoosic Valley would tie the game at 1just before the half on a goal by Ben Thompson. Hoosic Valley would put the pressure on Berlin early in the second half, but Berlin Keeper Gabe Colon would make several great saves to keep Berlin in the game. Cody Hunt would break the tie on an assist from Addison Colon for a 2to 1 lead. Kasey Billert would follow on a ball in front of the net and Hunt would score again late in the game to ice the win. Anthony Santon, Dan Hunt played well defensive to help gain the win. Malik Plouffe would have 17 saves in Goal in the first half and Gabe Colon 10saves in the second half.

NOTRE DAME-BISHOP GIB--- BONS 3, GALWAY 0>> Lorenzo Marchiso gave NDBG a 1-0lead before halftime. It was all Will Lawson in the second half. Lawson converted a penalty kick and added a second with 6minutes left to go. Shots on goal favored NDBG 6-3and they held an edge in corners 5-3. Galway keeper Henry Flint made three saves. NDBG goalkeeper Cole Nelson made three saves in the shut out.

MOHONASEN 6, COBLES KILL-RICHMONDVI­LLE 0>> Mohonasen’s win Monday night was powered by two goal performanc­es from Izzy O’Clair and Liv Racci. Hailey Dunsmore and Catie Finn each notched a goal of their own. Mohonasen goalkeeper Megan Hart made five saves to lock up the shut out.

MAPLE HILL 7, HUDSON 0 >> Maple Hill’s route of Hudson Monday was powered by a two goal performanc­e from Alayna Fletcher. Mariella Hirschoff, Paige Padilla, Hannah Brewer, Alexi Tedford, and Gianna Morse all scored goals of their own in the win. Hudson goalkeeper Nissa Cora made 14saves in the loss. Hannah Brewer did not make a save in the shut out for Maple Hill and Mia Fleck made one save. Maple Hill becomes 3-2and Hudson falls to 0-5.

NISKAYUNA 2, GUILDERLAN­D 1(OT) >> Niskayuna’s overtime goal came in overtime number two Monday night to lock up the comeback win for Nisky. Guilderlan­d’s goal was scored by Marissa Gordon. Niskayuna’s goals were scored by Olivia Piraino and Gabby Alston. Guilderlan­d goalkeeper Kiersten Becker made ten saves in the loss. Niskayuna goalkeeper Layla Abdoun made nine saves and Emma Anderson made eight saves.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL BURNT HILLS-BALLSTON LAKE 3, COLONIE 0>> Burnt Hills swept Colonie in the Suburban Council win Monday night. Set scores were 25-12, 25-15, and 25-14. Burnt Hills becomes 6-1overall after the win. Colonie falls to 0-5against Suburban Council opponents. Burnt Hills’ Jake Baker had 15kills, three aces, and two blocks. Derek Haughey added 21assists and five kills. Alex Hromada finished with 11digs, five assists, and three aces. Colonie’s Tyler Catalfano had four aces, five assists, and one kill.

Shenedehow­a’s Ashley Lavigne had 14service its, five aces, and 18assists. Olivia DeBortoli had seven kills and four blocks. Izzy Burns had nine service hits, three aces, and nine digs. Katie Greene had six kills.

ALBANY ACADEMY 3, LANSINGBUR­GH 0>> Albany Academy picked up the win Monday over Lansingbur­gh with a sweep. Set scores were 25-20, 27-25, 25-22. Lansingbur­gh’s Monica Kownack had five kills, three aces. Albany Academy’s Kyle McRoberts had 16assists, two aces, and one kill.

COLUMBIA 3, SHAKER 1>> Columbia earned the Suburban Council win Monday afternoon to become 4-3in Suburban Council competitio­n. Set scores were 25-16, 25-15, 23-25, 25-7. Columbia’s Emily Powell had 14 kills, three aces, and 15digs. Chesney Romer had 13kills and 12digs. Emma Rainville had 36 assists, three aces, and seven digs.

MOHONASEN 3, VOORHEESVI­LLE 1>> Mohonasen picked up the Colonial Council win Monday afternoon. Set scores were 2522, 23-25, 25-15, and 25-18. Mohonasen’s Hailey DeGuire had 32digs. Voorheesvi­lle’s Marie Julian had seven kills and nine service points.

GUILDERLAN­D 3, SCHENECTAD­Y 0>> Guilderlan­d swept Schenectad­y Monday. Set scores were 25-8, 25-16, 25-6. Guilderlan­d’s Julz Venduro had four kills and Katherine Psoinos had three kills and two assists. Nicole McGrath added 12kills and one ace and Morgan Manning had 15assists.

WATERFORD-HALFMOON 3, TAMARAC 1>> After Monday’s Waterford win, Waterford is now 3-2while Tamarac is 2-3 in league play. Set scores were 17-25, 25-18, 25-15, 25-21. Waterford’s Ayden Richards had 13 assists and nine service points. Isabella Pelech had 11service points and four kills. Haely Russell had 15digs. Tamarac’s Brionna Daniels had one kill and 19 digs. Jordyn Sorel had 14service points, six digs, and six kills.

SARATOGA 3, ALBANY 1>> Saratoga’s win Monday pushes them to 2-3this season while Albany falls to 1-5. Set scores were 25-23, 25-17, 17-25, and 25-21. Marley Hawthorne had four aces and six digs for Saratoga. Camille Sterling had eight kills, and Emmy Krum had eight aces and 11assists for the Blue Streaks. Suzanne Penna had 3kills, Martha Gonzalvo had 2aces, and Kelsey McGinn had 2 kills for Albany.
