TROY AIDS WALK: The Troy Area United Ministries (TAUM) sponsors an AIDS 5K Walk fund-raising event for the Damien Center on Sunday afternoon, September 23. The event begins at the TAUM building, 392 2nd Street, Troy, with a light lunch at noon and a 1p.m. start for the walk. The walk is 5K north to downtown Troy and returning to the TAUM Center. This year the organizing committee is reaching out to individuals and groups in the Troy area to join in the AIDS Walk by sponsoring a team or teams.
