JOHNSTOWN 8, GLOVERSVIL­LE 0 - Taryn Ringer scored a hat trick in Johnstown’s win over Gloversvil­le Tuesday. Along with Ringer, Anna Lee scored twice, and Kalena Eaton, Emily Fleming, and Maddie Etherton each scored goals of their own. Johnstown outshot Gloversvil­le 27- 0.

BURNT HILLS’ 1, GUILDERLAN­D 0 - Paige Thowe scored the lone goal for Burnt Hills to earn the win Tuesday over Guilderlan­d. In goal, Burnt Hills goalie Rachel Kampala made four saves; Guilderlan­d’s Jazlyn Jimenez made three.

CLASS B SECTIONALS: ROUND ONE: Ichabod Crane claimed the Class B championsh­ip with a 349 at McGregor Links Country Club Tuesday. Trevor Wolfe and Tismark Boham both qualified for the second round with 78’s. Schuylervi­lle’s Ben Follos had the highest Round two qualifying score with a 76.

CHRISTIAN BROTHERS ACADEMY 2, TROY 0 - Sumahri Stewart scored two goals to power CBA to the win over Troy Tuesday. Steawart’s goals were just two minutes apart in the second half.

SHAKER 1, BURNT HILLS 0 - Shaker’s Evan Austin scored the lone goal of the game to earn Shaker the win Tuesday. Shaker goalkeeper­s Flaherty and Osborn combined for five saves in the win.

SARATOGA 5, SCHENECTAD­Y 1 - Saratoga picked up the Suburban Council win Tuesday over Schenectad­y with two goal performanc­es from Elizabeth Herman and Madison Tousignant. Julia DiMenna also scored for Saratoga in the win. Schenectad­y’s lone goal was scored by Alexis Maye. Saratoga goalkeeper Casey Powers made four saves in the win and Schenectad­y’s Nicolette Knauf made 14 saves.

AVERILL PARK 1, BETHLEHEM 1 - After no score in the first half, Bethlehem and Averill Park each tal- lied goals in the second half. Unfortunat­ely, each side stayed scoreless through overtime to eventually conclude in a tie. Averill Park’s goal was scored by Sydney Haskin with eight minutes to play, and Grace Hotaling scored Bethlehem’s goal. Averill Park goalkeeper Megan Glanton made 16 saves and Bethlehem’s Shannon Donnelly made three.

SHEN 3, BALLSTON SPA 0- Shen improves to 10- 3 with Tuesday’s Suburban Council win over Ballston Spa. Set scores were 257, 25-12, and 25-12. Shen’s Mia Waddell had 17 service points, two aces, and seven digs. Ashley Lavigne had ten service points, four aces, 28 assists, and three kills. Maddy Frutchey added nine kills.

BUR N T HILLSBALLS­TON LAKE 3, SHAKER 0 - Burnt Hills improves to 14-2 overall with their win over Shaker Tuesday. Set scores were 25-11, 25-11, 25-10. Burnt Hills’ Callie Chevalier had eight kills and Claire Isaksen had 24 assists. Shaker’s Olivia Fazio had eight digs and Samantha Hardwick had two kills and nine digs. Shaker falls to 3-8 in Suburban Council.

AVERILL PARK 3, BETHLEHEM 0 - Averill Park Girls Volleyball defeated Bethlehem 3 games to 0 Tuesday. Set scores were 2518; 25-19; 25-19. Averill Park improves to 8-3 while Bethlehem falls to 2-7. For Averill Park, Jackie Borland had 12 kills, Kelsey Wood had seven and Marissa Nagel had five. Delaney Munyan had seven aces, Jenna Miller had 25 digs, and Emma Crawley had 30 assists.

NISKAYUNA 3, COLUMBIA 0 - Niskayuna improves to 7-2 with Tuesday’s win over Columbia. Set scores were 25-23, 25-23, and 2521. Niskayuna’s Stefana Stan had 19 kills and six assists. Katie Atchinson had 30 assists, four aces, and five kills. Molly Mason had 29 digs, two aces, and six assists.

HOLY NAMES 3, RAVENA 0 - Holy Names earned the Colonial Council win Tuesday over Ravena. Set scores were 25-13, 26-24, and 25-20. Ravena’s Grace Bullard had three aces and nine digs. Grace Engel added nine kills and 12 digs. Caitlin Orsino had two aces and ten digs. Holy Names’ Eleanor Cepiel had nine kills, three aces, and three digs. Claire Myers had 11 assists and Adele Decker had four kills and nine assists.
