SARATOGA 2, NISKAYUNA 0 - Saratoga’ win Thursday was thanks to a penalty kick from Evan Farr and an Aidan Rice goal. Alex Henderson made key saves in high pressure situations Thursday.

AVERILL PARK 3, TROY 0 - Logan Bielawski tallied two goals in the win over Troy Thursday. Tristan Shelhamer tallied one of his own. Averill Park outshot Troy 15-8.

NISKAYUNA 3, SARATOA 0 - Saratoga was swept Thursday by Niskayuna, making them now 7-3- 4 this season. Saratoga goalkeeper Natalie Jillson made eight saves. Niskayuna keeper Emma Anderson also made eight saves. Two Niskayuna goals were scored by Olivia Piraino and Mikayla Bechtel added one of her own.

BETHL E HEM 3, BALLSTON SPA 0 - Grace Hotaling tallied two goals in Bethlehem’s shut out Suburban Council win Thursday. Katie Hotaling tallied one of her own.

In DI, Shen holds down the fifth spot in the rankings and Burnt HillsBalls­ton Lake stays in the second spot at the Boys DII level.

AVERILL PARK 3, TROY 0 - Averill Park improves to 9- 4 thanks to Thursday’s win over Troy, who falls to 0-12. Set scores were 25-20, 25-18, 25-14. Kelsey Wood led Averill Park with eight kills, and Jackie Borland followed with 7. Jenna Miller had 25 digs and three aces. For Troy, Jenalyse Alarcon had five kills, and five digs, while Nadia Brown had 12 digs. Sophia DiNova had 15 digs, and two kills.

LANSINGBUR­GH 3, ICHABOD CRANE 1 - Lansingbur­gh picked up the non-conference win Thursday over ICC. Set scores were 25-19, 25-23, 22-25, 2519. Lansingbur­gh’s Camryn O’Hara had seven aces and 24 assists. Monica Kownack had 12 kills. Katie Jerominek had 16 digs

SHEN 3, COLONIE 0 - Shen improves to 13-1 overall with the sweep over Colonie Thursday. Set scores were 25-13, 25- 9, and 259. Shen’s Ashley Lavigne had seven service points, 26 assists. Olivia DeBortoli tallied five service points, two aces, 11 kills, and four blocks. Izzy Burns added 15 service points, five aces, and eight digs.Colonie’s Jenny Mueller had six kills and two blocks. Hailey Wood had 13 digs, one kill, and one ace.

GUILDERLAN­D 3, SHAKER 0 - Guilderlan­d swept Shaker Thursday in the Suburban Council matchup. Set scores were 25-13, 25-19, 25-20. For Guilderlan­d, Nicole McGrath had seven kills, five digs, and three blocks. Amber Nunziato tallied six kills and two blocks. Morgan Manning added 16 assists, one ace, and three digs. Peyton Legg contribute­d four aces and ten assists. Shaker’s Samantha Hardwick had eight kills and nine digs.

NISKAYUNA 3, SARATOGA 0 - Niskayuna swept Saratoga Thursday night to pick up the Suburban Council win. Set scores were 2511, 25-15, 25-19. Niskayuna’s Stefana Stan had 18 kills and Sophie Sacco contribute­d four blocks and two kills. Katie Atchinson tallied 23 assists. Saratoga’s Emmy Krum had 15 assists and Summer Schumacher tallied four kills and two blocks.Kaylie McKissick added four kills and three digs.

BALLSTON SPA 3, BETHLEHEM 1 - Ballston Spa picked up the win Thursday in four set. Set scores were 25-17, 24-26, 2520, and 25-22. Anna pilkey had eight blocks and ten kills. Megan McMahon had five aces, nine kills, and 26 assists. Paige davis had 13 digs and Trinity Kelsey had 15 kills.
