ISABELLA RODINO
Brunswick Isabella Crispo Rodino, 93, joined her beloved husband, Joseph, in Heaven on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Born in Troy, daughter of the late Guiseppe and Elizabeth Daniele Crispo, she has resided in Brunswick since 1960. Isabella is a graduate of Catholic Central High School and the former St. Joseph’s Conservatory of Music in Troy. An accomplished pianist, Isabella enjoyed being a piano instructor many years ago. She had been employed by the former Peerless & Company, Behr Manning and Cluett-Peabody & Co. before leaving the workforce to raise her family. She later worked for many years as a secretary at Rodino’s, Inc., retiring in the 1990’s. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill and a member of the Troy Arts Guild. She is the beloved wife of the late Joseph Rodino, who died on April 2, 2018; devoted mother of Michael (Jeanmarie) Rodino of Averill Park, Ramona (Kenneth) Zimmerman of Troy, Michele (Philip) Silva of Lake George and Cecilia (Michael) Testa of Stoneham, MA; cherished grandmother of Jessica Zimmerman, Esq., Dr. Joseph (Dr. Sharon) Zimmerman, Steven and Nicholas Rodino, Ethan Silva, Michael and Lucas Testa and Alex Carpenito; and dear sister of the late Pasquale (late Arlene) Crispo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 43 Brookside Avenue in Wynantskill on Monday at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville. Calling hours will be held at the McNulty Funeral Home, 147 Hudson Avenue, Green Island on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. Isabella’s family is very grateful for the compassionate and professional care given to her at her home by Dr. Kevin Costello and the home health caregivers and to Dr. Coates and Team 1 and the staff at C4 in the Albany Medical Center, especially Alisha, Jessica and Jackie.
