RAYMOND DONALD MANCUCCI JR.

Raymond Donald Mancucci Jr., age 89, formerly of Pleasantdale, NY passed away on Friday, October 25th, in Stillwater, NY surrounded by his loving son after a short illness. Ray was born on December 2, 1928 in Cohoes, NY. He was the son of the late Frances Pelo and Raymond Mancucci, Sr. Ray enlisted in the Air Force at a young age and served his country honorably. After being discharged from the military, he married Barbara Mancucci, who predeceased him in 2010. Ray and Barbara were happily married for over 50 years and together they raised two children, the late Vicki Crandall, and Raymond Mancucci III. Ray was a carpenter for most of his life and also worked as a mechanic for Freihofers Baking company, where he retired from in 1994. Ray enjoyed spending time at camp with his family as well as bowling and tinkering with his CB and Ham radios. Ray is survived by his son Raymond; his grandchildren, Christy (Dan) Lill, Jeff Crandall, and Zachary Mancucci, his sister; Diane Poirier, his great-grandchildren; Olivia and Victoria Lill and his son-in-law Edward Crandall. Ray was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, Robert Mancucci. The family would like to thank Community Hospice for their support in the final days of Ray’s life.
