MARY T. O’BRIEN
Troy, NY - Mary T. O’Brien, 80, passed away Nov. 19th, after a full life, just a day short of her 81st birthday. Born in Troy, a lifelong area resident, Mary was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Alice St. Hilaire Lozo. Mary had a long and diverse employment history working for, Montgomery Ward, at School 2, as a “lunch lady”, the Dandy Laundromat in Troy and finally at the Walmart in Brunswick, for over 20 years as a “greeter”. Mary enjoyed bowling, playing tennis with her sister, bingo and trips to the casino. She also loved being with family and “tussling” with her grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her brothers: Larry, Ralph and Anthony. Mary is survived by her 4 children: Lawrence M. O’Brien, Jeffrey S. (Jessica) O’Brien, Jennifer T. (John) Lopiano and Christopher J. O’Brien all of Troy; 12 grandchildren: Sabrina, C J, Mathew, Joseph, Michael, Merideth, Ashley, Sadie, Mackenzie, J J, Madison and Kaydence; her sister Doris (Frank) Shoemaker of N. Greenbush and her nieces and nephews: Brenda, Justine, Cindy, Doreen, Stephen and Frankie. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering, on Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 1 to 4 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue, (corner of 104th St.), Lansingburgh.
