Greenwich rebounds for Wasaren League win over Hoosick Valley

GREENWICH 57, HOOSICK VALLEY 42 — A rough first quarter doomed Hoosick Valley as the Witches jumped out to a 14-2 lead and never looked back in the Wasaren League tilt.

John Walsh led Greenwich with 16 points with Alex Curtis adding 14 more. Hoosick Valley saw Isaac Carlo led the way with 14 points, Zach Ryan following with 10 and C. J. Bassett hitting three treys for his ninepoint night. The Plainsmen were powered by Jake Reinish’s 25-point night, including six three-pointers with Devin Dzikas adding nine for Shen.

The Brothers were led by Peter O’Toole’s 15-point night with Jordan King adding 13, Tyler Grimes chipping in 12 and Hagen Foley adding 10 on the night. CBA (63)

Frank Rainville led Columbia with 19 points on the night, including three treys followed by Alex Ad- ams with 16. Burnt HIllsBalls­ton Lake was paced by Jared Slovicz with 15 points. Jack Wyatt added nine points with A.G. Giaquinto dropping in eight.
