Cost is $ 30 through Oct. 21 for th 5k and 10k race and $ 10 for the grade school mile and turkey walk. The price increases to $ 35 and $ 15 respectively on Oct. 22. In- person registration along with bib and t- shirt pick up will be held at the Troy Atrium (4 Third Street) from 11 a. m. to 6 p. m. Sunday, Nov. 24 and Wednesday, Nov. 27. Dayof- event registration for all events will begin at 6: 30 a. m. to 15 minutes prior to each event on the second f loor of the Troy Atrium with a dayof fee of $ 40 and $ 15. Lacrosse Offense/ Defense Skill Clinics: with RPI coaches and former pro Vonzel Legall will be offered by Rogue Lacrosse from noon to 2 p. m. Sunday, Oct. 27 at the RPI ECAV Stadium Field. The event is for players 11- to 18- years old with a VIP session available from 2 to 3 p. m. Cost is $ 100 for the clinic, $ 200 for the VIP session. Register at myhockeyskills. com Adirondack Thunder to offer senior ticket discount: The Adirondack Thunder and The Wesley Community announced that they will once again team up to offer seniors a special savings on tickets to see the Glens Falls- based ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils.
For the second consecutive season, seniors ages 55 and older will receive a $ 2 discount on full- price tickets to 201920 regular season Adirondack Thunder home games, courtesy of The Wesley Community. The discount is available exclusively at the Upstate Chevy Dealers Box Office at Cool Insuring Arena (with valid proof of identification). The savings is effective on tickets purchased in advance or on the day of the game.

Arena Ball starts Oct. 26: Live Indoor baseball games on our new indoor “Barn Yard” turf field for ages 7–12 will begin its 19th year of play at The Sports Barn/ Hayner Academy in Halfmoon October 26th. Players ages 9- 12 have two options: form their own 7- player team and play in our “Form Your Own Team League” (9/ 10 and 11/ 12 age divisions) or register individually and participate in our “Play on a Set Day and Time” weekly program.
Games are one hour in length, once a week and t he season concludes the week before Christmas. League standings and home run leaders will be posted on- line weekly with end of season trophies awarded for all team division winners and home run leaders. Ages 7 and 8 play “Instruct i onal/ CoachPitch” (45 minutes each) on Saturday mornings 9 to 10: 30 a. m. Albany Empire to host tryouts Nov. 2: The Albany Empire Arena Football Team announced today that they will host an open player tryout on Saturday, November 2 at Sportsplex at Halfmoon located at. 6 Corporate Drive, Clifton Park.. Registration will begin at 8 a. m. and tryouts will begin at 9 a. m. Kickers can report at 12 p. m.
A pre- registration fee of $ 65 can be applied at www.TheAlbanyEmpire. com/ team/ tr youts before Friday, November 1 at 3 p. m. Registration after that day and time will require an application fee of $ 80 (cash or cashier’s check only). A tshirt will be included in the cost and all fees are non- refundable. Players will be tested on their 40- yard dash time, short shuttle and other position- specific drills. Appropriate workout gear and shoes/cleats must be worn. Testing will take place on field turf – no metal cleats are permitted. All positions will be evaluated in tryouts – QB, WR, FB, DB, LB, DL & OL, and K.

Clifton Park Boys Winter Rec Basketball: Registration for the Town of Clifton Park Boys Winter Recreation Basketball League is now open. The program is open to all boys, Grades 2-12, residing either in the Shen School District OR the Town of Clifton Park and not playing in Grades 8 & Under travel leagues. The program runs from November 2 through late March. Spaces are limited and are filled on a first- come, first- served basis. You are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
