2020 Sage Sof tball Youth Camp: The Sage Colleges’ Youth Softball Clinic is open to girls, ages 6-13. This clinic will provide individualized instruction, with an emphasis on improving each player’s skill level. We feel that with our staff, players will improve their skill level and enjoy themselves while doing it! The drills will be compatible with their age and skill level. The clinic will include your choice of hitting and/ or fielding, and pitching.
The clinic will take place in our indoor turf facility, The Armory (130 New Scotland Ave., Albany, NY 12208). Each player must bring their own bat, glove, helmet, water, and sneakers/turf shoes! We will be breaking for lunch, so each player is responsible for a lunch. Open to the first 50 players . 2020 Sage Softball Prospect Clinic: The Sage Colleges’ Softball Prospect Clinic is open to high school students in classes 20202025. This clinic will cover throwing mechanics, defensive fundamentals, positional work for multiple positions, hitting mechanics, base-running, and significant full field game play. All participants will be exposed to college level training. Participants will interact with college coaches and “Talk College” with current Sage softball student- athletes. The highlevel training will allow the prospect to work on all aspects of the game and leave a better player!

SAVE! Ice Hockey Goalie Academy Skills Clinic: Every Monday night from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hockey Hut followed by a one hour goalie-focused off-ice training session.The clinic will include stations that focus on rebound control, depth, angles, skating skills, and hand positioning. Game type situations and video and photo to help goalies show their position and movement in the crease. $25 drop-in and $20 promotion if you bring a skilled shooter. Hockey Hut presents the Pierre Leblond Advanced Skills Class: Come train with a PRO! Each week players will work on a variety of advanced hockey skills training. Adirondack Thunder to offer senior ticket discount: The Adirondack Thunder and The Wesley Community announced that they will once again team up to offer seniors a special savings on tickets to see the Glens Falls- based ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils.
For the second consecutive season, seniors ages 55 and older will receive a $2 discount on full-price tickets to 2019-20 regular season Adirondack Thunder home games, courtesy of The Wesley Community. The discount is available exclusively at the Upstate Chevy Dealers Box Office at Cool Insuring Arena (with valid proof of identification). Winter Skills Lacrosse Sessions: Sunday, Jan. 19, 26, Feb. 9, 16, 23 ad March 1 with Rogue Lacrosse at the Wilton YMCA turf facility for two grade divisions — 3- through 8th grade and 9 through 12th-grade. 2020 Shamrock Shuffle Road Race: Sunday, March 29 the Adirondack RUnners will host its 34th annual Shamrock Shuff le Road Race at Glens Falls High School (10 Quade Street). The Leprechaun Leap 7/8thmile race for kids will be at 10 a.m. with the 5-mile shuffle going off at 11 a.m.
Pre-race registration is $25 prior to March 24, Adirondack Runners Club members $20 with race day registration from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. $30. The Leprechaun Leap race day registration is $3.
The even benefits the Warren-Washington Counties (Area #37) NYS Special Olympics.
