Theories and Techniques of Coaching: Class dates are July 18and 19, from 7am to 5 pm. This is one of the courses required to coach in New York State high schools. Theories and Techniques of coaching will be taught in Guilderlan­d at the Vent Fitness Center at 2080Wester­n Avenue in the Hamilton Square Mall. The cost is $195if registered prior to July 2. $250will be required after July 2. Tuition is non-refundable but can be credited to future classes. All Skills Softball Camp: The Sports Barn / Hayner Academy will be conducting its annual Miss Shen Junior Softball All-Skills Camp July 20-24from 9:00am-12:00pm for ages 8-14at the Clifton Park Commons Complex. The camp is open to players from all communitie­s. To register go to www.missshen.org. All Sports Camp: The Sports Barn / Hayner Academy will be conducting its All Sports (Phys. Ed.) camp August 10-14 for ages 8-12at its recreation center in Halfmoon. The camp is 9:00am - 12:00pm and will be under the direction of Jessica Hayner, P.E. teacher at Loudonvill­e Christian School. BOYS SUMMER LACROSSE: Capitallan­d summer lacrosse programs will be starting July 6and go through mid August with half day camps and evening programs. Our programs are open to all beginners, novice, and advanced skilled players in grades K through 10 throughout the Capital District at a fraction of the cost of other local programs. Our staff includes some of the finest past and present coaches in the Capital District. Our summer lineup includes: Tuesday evening lacrosse programs, July 7– August 4; Day camps, 9amto noon on July 6through 10, and July 13through1­7; Night camp is 6pmto 8pm August 3–7. In each of our programs we will have the following age and skill levels: A 5– 9grade advanced skills Coach Corner; A 5-10 grade novice skill program; A 5- 10grade beginner skill program; A 2- 4grade full equipment program for all levels of players; A co-ed grades k – 5 non-contact learn to play program.
