Without the opportunities to have the normal fundraising activities at the center throughout the yearraffles, programs, and special events-we are now planning our ONE fundraiser of the year, a Ziti and Meatball dinner. We have transformed the June spaghetti dinner into Take Out Ziti and Meatball dinners, as Ziti is better for take out! The meal will be the same as previous years, with salad, bread, cookie, but it will be take-out only for $12.00a meal . You can pay and pre-order (preferred!) by sending a check in (made out to SSOW) and we will call you to confirm, or walk-in the day of the dinner. This year, one of Watervliet’s best chefs and our greatest supporter, Tim Delisle from the Black Bear Inn will be preparing the meal! Tim prepared spaghetti and meatballs for the seniors for lunch last fall and approximately 100people came then. We hope we have a great turn-out for this event as well. When people get to the senior center, you will also have the opportunity to purchase 50⁄50 tickets and put tickets into your favorite items in a basket raffle. The raffle will be photos of the actual items set up on a table outside, and the 50⁄50 will be outside for your health and safety. Please help us with this event by purchasing dinner and some raffles! The funds raised for this event go directly to running the senior center.
