Let’s focus on spreading joy
These challenging times truly remind us of what’s really important: love, joy and family.
We need to work on supporting each other more than ever before. Many people in our community and across the state and nation are experiencing losses they never thought they would be facing. From loved ones passing from COVID-19 to losing jobs and navigating remote learning, we’ve all been struggling. The pan
demic has had not only physical impacts on our lives but mental impacts, and it’s so important that we all look out for one another.
The comradery and outpouring of support I’ve seen across our community during these unprecedented times has been so inspiring and heartwarming. I can only hope that as we head into the New Year, we continue to support and work together to help those in need and help our community thrive.
To celebrate the season of giving, I’m proud to be partnering with Capital Region Toys for Tots, a fantastic organization that continues to help countless local children by promoting their worthy and generous efforts throughout the 112th Assembly District. Donations will be accepted at my district office through December 23, offering residents across the Capital Region an opportunity to help children and families in need this year.
Many families are facing financial hardships and setbacks as a result of COVID-19, which is why it’s more important than ever for those that are fortunate enough to enjoy the holi
day season with their families contribute what they can to help to spread cheer to the many families around us who could use a helping hand. It is extremely heartwarming to see a community come together to make a real difference for those in need, especially in these challenging times.
I encourage anyone who is able to participate in this year’s toy drive to help us make a child’s holiday wish come true.
Please remember that the COVID-19 pandemic isn’t over yet. We have to continue to be responsible: social distance, wear a mask and wash your hands. I hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday season. Thank you for your continued support. I’m so proud and blessed to be able to represent you and our wonderful community.
