Trustco Bank launches ‘Home for the Holidays’
CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. » Trustco Bank announced the launch of its “Home for the Holidays” Program to help ensure families have a safe place to celebrate the season.
The Home Town Bank will donate $ 40,000 to local housing agencies and community loan funds in Upstate and Downstate New York, Vermont, the Berkshires, New Jersey and Florida during the month of December.
“Many Americans have had financial difficulties this year due to COVID-19. By supporting these housing agencies and community loan programs, we believe families in need can still enjoy a safe, affordable home to spend the holidays,” Robert J. McCormick, Chairman, President and CEO of Trustco Bank stated.
“We encourage others to consider making a donation to these organizations in hopes of making this holiday season brighter for our neighbors and local communities,” McCormick added.
Trustco Bank has selected 16 agencies to each receive a $2,500 grant. These funds will be used to support the mission of these organizations and to improve the communities in which they serve.

• Berkshire Housing
• Community Loan Fund of the Capital Region, Inc.
• Housing Resources of Colum
bia County
• Rensselaer Community Housing Resources
• Troy Rehabilitation and Improvement Program
• Vermont Community Loan Fund
