BID supporting small businesses with BINGO game
TROY, N.Y. » The Downtown Troy Business Improvement District is encouraging locals to support small businesses by shopping, dining and exploring downtown Troy both in person and virtually with the new Spring BINGO game.
One can download and print the free card off the BID’s website or take a screenshot and participate by visiting downtown businesses in-person or online, throughout the month to Troy Night Out on Friday, April 30.
“There are so many fun ways to interact with downtown Troy while supporting your local small business community,” Katie Hammon, executive director of the Downtown Troy BID said.
“Get outside and enjoy the beautiful spring weather with B-I-N-G-O, giving you so many reasons to shop, dine, and explore downtown Troy!” Hammon exclaimed.
Once participants have their card completed, snap a pic and tag @troybid on any social platform,

There’s many ways to experience all facets of the downtown Troy community. When shopping, dining and exploring local,
resources and support are reinvested directly to the Collar City’s small business ownersyour friends, neighbors and their families.
There are many options to engage with the community and play Spring BINGO. Spaces such as “I found something floral at ____,” “I got a new style, cut or color at _____,” or “I treated a friend to something special at ____,” to name a few; encourages participants to seek out items, services, gifts and experiences that they may not have yet discovered or revisit their favorite businesses. Playing online is a click away, gifting a distant friend or family member an item, purchase a gift card for a beauty or wellness service or a surprise dinner and wine delivery.
T and J Handcrafted Soap partners with Spring BINGO for an extra hunt. Keep an eye out for their Gnome Soaps, hidden among fellow neighboring businesses. Follow along with their social media @tandjsoap for upcoming clues to new gnomes popping up around town. There’s many ways to enjoy Downtown and play for free as well. Spaces for “I enjoyed a nice Spring walk” or “I love studying in Troy, NY,” allows all ages and interests, encouraging visitors to shop, dine and explore throughout the month.
