QB front-runner Young mostly shines in Alabama’s spring game

Spring Break at Boys and Girls Club of Troy: Running from Friday, March 26th, through Thursday, April 2, BGCT will be running programs, for ages 6-15, with each day designed to deliver a maximum amount of fun! The BGCT Spring Break Program costs just $100 for the five-day program, with an updated $70 yearly membership.

Hockey Hut Summer Camps are right around the corner: The Hockey Hut is excited for another summer of maximizing players developmen­t spots are starting to fill up! Put in your deposit now to reserve your players spot in our camps! Camps include over three hours of on-ice instructio­n including power-skating, puck control, and shooting. All camps will involve starting last spring after arriving as the nation’s top quarterbac­k prospect. But then practices were called off because of the pandemic.

He also had his first chance to lead a gamewinnin­g drive at Alabama, even if it was just an end-ofspring scrimmage. He took the White team down the instructio­n tailored to that week. Camps also include outdoor off-ice training and hockey skills. All players will receive a jersey at the beginning of each camp.

Ice Hockey Goalie Academy Skills Clinic: Every Monday night from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hockey Hut followed by a one hour goalie-focused off-ice training session.The clinic will include stations that focus on rebound control, depth, angles, skating skills, and hand positionin­g. Game type situations and video and photo to help goalies field in the final minutes with the game tied, setting up a short field goal for a 13-10 win over the Crimson.

“I think Bryce has put in a lot of effort this spring in just understand­ing the offense and trying to improve on himself and also bring the offense together,” wide receiver Slade Bolden said. “He’s shown some leadership skills. He’s also done a great job of executing on the field.”

Hockey Hut Online Training: We hope everyone is staying safe during this trying time. In Keeping with the standards set by our government, our current programmin­g is on hold. As soon as we can schedule our Tactical Power Skating and our Pond Hockey League we will, stay tuned.

Hockey Hut presents the Pierre Leblond Advanced Skills Class: Come train with a PRO! Each week players will work on a variety of advanced hockey skills training. Battle drills, edgework, shooting and more, all at a high rate of speed. Register on-site Houston Texans and Penn State head coach. Heisman Trophy-winning receiver DeVonta Smith and fellow finalists Jones and tailback Najee Harris are among the departed stars from that unbeaten team that averaged 48.5 points.
