SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. » The Saratoga International Flavorfeast typically held on Columbus Day Weekend is canceled for 2021.

Organizers Ashley and Fran Dingeman from Saratoga Food Fanatic and Network Saratoga LLC announced that that festival will not take place on Oct. 9 as planned.

As the Dingemans did last year, they have made the safe and conscientious decision to reschedule the 2021 event, a press release said, inviting Flavorfeast

fans to mark their calendars for next fall.

The next Flavorfeast is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, when the mother/daughter duo anticipates once again providing the opportunity to travel the streets of downtown Saratoga Springs and experience a feast of flavors from a variety of countries, offered by the local restaurant scene. It will mark the event’s seventh year.

“As you know, Saratoga International Flavorfeast couldn’t go on last year due to COVID-19, and as we approached this year, we thought it might be doable,”

said Fran, owner of Network Saratoga LLC and co-organizer of the event, in the release. “Unfortunately, in light of the recent increase in cases, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event and look to a brighter (and safer) 2022.”

Saratoga Food Fanatic founder and event co-organizer Ashley added, “We know it’s not ideal, but it’s in the best interest of public health and the restaurants that we have made this decision. In lieu of the event, we hope that you will all continue to support and give love to our

local restaurants! And don’t forget to mark your calendars for October 8, 2022 for our triumphant return!”

The Saratoga International Flavorfeast was created to bring greater awareness to the richness of the area’s local diversity, while celebrating the worldly culinary styles and people that give the region its unique flair.
