North Greenbush Police Department

Grand larceny: Andrew LaValley, of Troy, was arrested on May 11, at 3:23 p.m. and was turned over to this North Greenbush police by Troy police on several active arrest warrants. He is alleged to have stolen from Hannaford on March 31 and Home Depot on March 7, March 19, and March 23. He was charged with felony fourth-degree grand larceny, three counts of misdemeano­r petit larceny, and one count of misdemeano­r sixth-degree conspiracy. He was arraigned at North Greenbush Town Court and released to return at a later date.

Theft: Michael Ennis, of Valatie, was arrested on May 12, at 3:30 p.m. and was turned over to North Greenbush police by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office on an outstandin­g bench warrant. Ennis had failed to appear for a felony charge stemming from a theft at T-Mobile on Feb. 22. Ennis was arraigned at North Greenbush Town Court and released to return to court at a later date.

Warrant: Corey McDaniel, of Troy, turned himself in on an outstandin­g arrest warrant on May 13, at 2:48 p.m., from an incident at Hoffman’s Car Wash on Jan. 23.

Petit larceny: Tanya Lee, of Watervliet, was arrested on May 13, at 9:40 p.m. Lee was turned over to North Greenbush police by Colonie police on an outstandin­g arrest warrant stemming from a theft at Home Depot on March 19. In that case, Lee is alleged to have stolen $884.56 in merchandis­e. Lee was charged with petit larceny and released to return to court at a later date.

Driving while impaired by drugs: John Marcus, of Troy, was arrested on May 3, at 9:10 a.m., during an investigat­ion into a personal injury auto accident on Main Ave. at the intersecti­on with State Route 150. Through investigat­ion, it was determined that Marcus had been on State Route 150, stopped at the red light, when he suddenly careened forward through Main Ave. and into the parking lot of Tony Scott Auto where he struck three parked cars and a fence belonging to Jack and Jill Day Care. He was found to be under the influence of drugs. He was treated for injuries at Samaritan Hospital and arrested. He was charged with misdemeano­r driving while ability impaired by drugs first offense, and several traffic violations. He was released to return to court at a later date.

Reckless driving: Joshua Temple, of Cohoes, was arrested on May 7, at 7:30 a.m., following an investigat­ion into a property damage auto accident on North Greenbush Rd. near Cooley Motors. Witnesses indicated that Temple had been driving recklessly, swerving and passing vehicles at a high rate of speed, when he collided into the rear of another vehicle before going off the road, hitting a tree, and rolling over. Temple was found to be impaired by an unknown substance. He was charged with misdemeano­r reckless driving, misdemeano­r driving while ability impaired by drugs first offense, and multiple traffic infraction­s. He was released to return to court at a later date.
