Sports briefs run as space permits throughout the week in The Record. To submit an item, e-mail sports@troyrecord.com. Capitallan­d May and June Lacrosse Camps for Boys: Capitallan­d lacrosse will be running a boy’s May and June lacrosse programs. Players can choose to play on Tuesday nights, Sunday afternoons, or both.

All programs will start on May 10 and end on June 26. Each group will play for an hour and a half each session. Levels include: co-ed kindergart­en through fifth grade learn to play program; boys instructio­nal programs for beginner & novice players grades 2nd through 5th and 6th through 10th; advanced instructio­n program for players in grades three through six and seven through nine who want to refine their game while being introduced to more advanced techniques. All age levels will be separated and a scrimmage will be held each night.
