Aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle: On Jan. 30, at 8:57 p.m., Christopher Pondillo, of Troy, was taken into custody during a traffic stop on Bloomingrove Dr. near CDTA Park and Ride after it was discovered that his license was driving with an ID only which was suspended six times, the vehicle was unregistered, uninsured, and uninspected. He was charged with misdemeanor second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and four traffic infractions.
Stalking: On Feb. 1, at 3:04 p.m., Joseph Martin, of North Greenbush, was taken into custody in the police station parking lot following a complaint of road rage. Martin was charged with felony second-degree stalking, misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, misdemeanor reckless driving, and several traffic infractions. He was arraigned at North Greenbush Town Court and released to return at a later date.
Aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle: On Feb. 1, at 6:53 p.m., William McNulty, of Troy, was taken into custody during a traffic stop on North Greenbush Rd. near HVCC for driving on a suspended license. McNulty had been arrested for the same on Jan. 26, and the officer recognized him from that arrest. He was confirmed to still have the active suspension prior to the officer stopping him. He was charged with misdemeanor third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and released to return to court at a later date.
Suspended registration: On Feb. 2, at 9:39 p.m., Rodolfo Fajardo, of Bronx, was taken into custody during a traffic stop on North Greenbush Rd. near Cooley Motors when it was discovered that the vehicle’s registration was suspended. He was charged with misdemeanor operation while registration suspended, and five traffic infractions. He was released to return to court at a later date.
Petit larceny: On Feb. 3, at 3:27 p.m., Myron Moore, of Red Hook, was taken into custody with the assistance of Catskill police on an active arrest warrant stemming from a shoplifting at Hannaford on Oct.12, 2022. In that case, staff reported a man that had stolen $377.30 in cleaning supplies, groceries and beer. The man was identified as Moore after a similar incident at the Hannaford in Rotterdam. He was charged with misdemeanor petit larceny, and arraigned at North Greenbush Town Court. He was released to return at a later date.
Criminal possession of a controlled substance: On Feb. 3, at 7:14 p.m., Joshua Frank, of Schenectady, was arrested in the parking lot of Home Depot during a welfare check. The caller reported a male that was found to be unresponsive sitting in a vehicle. Officers arrived and were able to wake him. He refused any medical attention. Further investigation revealed that he was operating with an ID only, which had eight active suspensions, and was in possession of approximately a gram of heroin. He was taken into custody and charged with misdemeanor seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. He was given a return court date and turned over to New York State Police on an active bench warrant for failing to appear in court in Dec. to face serious felony drug charges.
Petit larceny: On Feb. 7, at 2:50 p.m., Elizabeth Dolder, of Delanson, was taken into custody at Home Depot following a complaint of theft. Staff reported the theft of $723.18 in merchandise by a woman that was walking out the door at the time of the call. Staff had recovered all of the property by that point. Officers located Dolder in the parking lot and arrested her. She was charged with misdemeanor petit larceny, and released to return to court at a later date.
Burglary: On Feb. 8, at 6:03 p.m., Randy McCulloch, of Troy, was turned over to North Greenbush police from Watervliet police on an active arrest warrant stemming from a theft on Glenmore Rd. on July 22, 2022. In that case, about $1,100 in construction materials were stolen from a building under construction. A co-defendant had been arrested in Oct., 2022. McCulloch was charged with felony third-degree burglary, misdemeanor petit larceny, and misdemeanor fifth-degree conspiracy. He was arraigned at North Greenbush Town Court and remanded to Rensselaer County Jail pending a hearing on bail.
Petit larceny: On Feb. 9, at 5:19 p.m., Angela Fusco, of Troy, was taken into custody at Hannaford following a complaint from staff that she had shoplifted. Staff reported that she had failed to check out all of the merchandise she had with her. She was charged with misdemeanor petit larceny, and released to return to court at a later date.
