Local manufacturer makes Inc. 5000
WATERTOWN >> Inc. Magazine revealed its 34th annual list of America’s top 5000 fastest-growing private companies which included ECI Screen Print, Inc. of Watertown, CT at No. 4924 with a three-year sales growth of 45 percent.
For more than 20 years, ECI has produced Human Interface products that have successfully proven ECI as a leading manufacturer of quality printed electronics, bio-sensors, membrane switches, industrial graphics and more. These products can be found in OEM, medical, and military industries as well as food equipment and avionics.
ECI was founded by Edward F. Cook, Jr., who is a Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and member of the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) and a member of the National Association of Graphic and Product Identification Manufacturers, Inc. (GPI).
Cook correlates the success that ECI has seen directly with ECI’s employee’s strong commitment, stating, “ECI’s experienced and dedicated staff have worked extremely hard to drive this business to where it is today. ECI is committed to building our business through our industrious people, outstanding customer service, and innovative production methods.”
In 2014, ECI was honored to receive a DECD Small Business Express Program Matching Grant and Loan package to assist in the renovation and relocation to its new manufacturing facility in Watertown. As a part of the package, ECI proposed adding 10 new jobs to coincide with the facility expansion and expanding its production capacity. “Being just two years into our 5 year strategic plan and having the support of the State Small Business Express program, and now making the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies in America, are both positive affirmations that ECI’s plan is working,” says President Cook in reference to the award. With ECI’s recent move to their new manufacturing facility, achieving Inc. 5000 status has been another amazing step the company’s trajectory.
ECI will be celebrate Sept. 3 with a ribbon cutting ceremony with local dignitaries and hosting an employee luncheon on the facility’s lawn.
