FARMERS MARKET: Torrington Farmers Market will be held on Tuesdays, 2:305:30 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Sky Top Lanes, 1000 E. Main St., Torrington. A variety of vendors will offer local produce and other wares each week. QUILT ON DISPLAY: The Harwinton Woman’s Club’s 38th annual quilt, Silhouette­s And Light, is on display at the Harwinton Public Library. The original, hand-embroidere­d, hand-appliqued and hand quilted project for 2015 will be on display at the Harwinton Branch of the Thomaston Savings Bank through September. Raffle tickets for $3 each will be on sale at the Harwinton Fair and from members during September and October. LIBRARY EXHIBIT: The Hotchkiss Library of Sharon presents the work of artist Zelina Blagden, daughter of local artist Allen Blagden and the niece of Irene Blagden, titled “Photograph­y and Assemblage,” on display Sept. 1-Oct. 31.
