Opera House Friends to hold fundraiser

TERRYVILLE >> The Friends of the Thomaston Opera House will hold an evening of wine and beer tasting on Friday, Nov. 4, 6-9 p.m. at the Lyceum, 181 Main Street, Terryville.

Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, raffle prizes, an art display and sale of work by local artists, and a presentation by the Pampered Chef , with live background music. Proceeds will help pay for the restoration of the back wall of the historic Opera House mezzanine.
