College club to screen documentary film

WINSTED >> Northwestern Connecticut Community College and LGBTQIA+ Club will be hosting a showing of GENSILENT, the critically acclaimed documentary by filmmaker Stu Maddux that asks six LGBT seniors if they will hide their lives in order to survive in the health care system. The film is sponsored by Western Connecticut Area Agency on Aging (WCAAA) and AARP Connecticut. The film will be shown Thursday, Nov. 3, 12 p.m. in NCCC‘s Art and Science Center (ASB), Room 209. ASB is located at 209 Holabird Avenue, Winsted.
