WORKPLACE AWARD

Webster Bank recently received a Healthy Workplace Award. The Gold Award for outstanding achievement in implementing employee wellness programs was presented by The Business Council of Fairfield County. This honor recognizes employers who promote wellness among employees and serve as a catalyst for similar action by other employers in the public and private sector. Webster was honored for being on the cutting edge of offering wellness programs to employees through onsite events, cash incentives, and automated progress-trackers that eliminate paperwork. Participation in wellness plans has increased 25 percent year over year. The award ceremony took place on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Stamford Marriott Hotel and Spa in Stamford.
