Scholarship applications now available
BETHLEHEM>> Applications are now being accepted for the Bethlehem Fair Foundation’s scholarship program.
A minimum of five scholarships of $1,000 a year, renewable for 4 years, will be awarded to area high school seniors based on academic achievement, participation in school and community activities, financial need, and participation in Bethlehem Fair activities. Additional awards may be made depending upon funds available.
In 2016, 13 students were granted $28,500 in scholarships. This was made possible through proceeds of the Bethlehem Fair as well as from fundraisers that were held at the
Fairgrounds throughout the year
Applications can be printed from the at the Bethlehem Fair website, www. bethlehemfair.com. Applica- tions can also be requested by calling the Bethlehem Fair office at 203-266-5350 or emailing the office at: office@bethlehemfair.com. You can also check with the guidance department at your school.
To be considered for this year’s awards, completed applications must be received at the Bethlehem Fair office by April 1. Completed applications can be faxed to 203266-7795 or mailed to Bethlehem Fair Foundation, Inc., PO Box 488, Bethlehem, CT, 06751.
The completed application can also be dropped off at the fair office located at 384Main Street North, Bethlehem, or can be emailed to office@bethlehemfair.com.
