Miss Litchfield County Scholarship Program accepting contestants
The Miss Litchfield County Scholarship program is accepting contestants ages 17 to 24 to be awarded the title of Miss Litchfield County 2017 scheduled for March 4, 2017. Miss Connecticut Allyssa Taglia will host the 10 year celebration. Taglia held the Miss Litchfield 2016 title, winning the honor of representing the state as Miss Connecticut in Atlantic City, NJ on the Miss America stage in September.
Miss Litchfield County is a preliminary competition leading to the Miss CT Scholarship competition in June. The Miss Litchfield County Scholarship Organization provides opportunities for young women to achieve their personal and professional ambitions. Contestants also participate in community service activities
and develop leadership skills that help them excel in their chosen career and life goals with the support of dedicated volunteers assisting them in their pursuit of academic excellence, service and lifelong success.
The Miss Connecticut Pageant is an official preliminary of the Miss America Pageant, the nation’s leading achievement program and the world’s largest provider of scholarship assistance to young women. The Miss Connecticut Scholarship Organization is a non-profit organization that awards scholarships to outstanding young women to help advance them academically and professionally. Participants have gone on to achieve major success in diverse fields including medicine, law, business, broadcast journalism, theater, politics, literature and more.
