Bunco event deadline is today

TORRINGTON >> The seventh annual Veneta Ladies Auxiliary Sponsored Bunco For Scholarships will be held Friday, April 7 at the Veneta Society, 108 Central Ave., Torrington.

Registration is $20 per person. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the fun dice game begins at 6:30 p.m.

Proceeds will support the society’s annual scholarship program for local high school students. To register, email email venetabunco17@gmail.com. The deadline is March 28 and the event is limited to 80 participants.

Admission includes snacks, desserts, soft drinks and hot beverages with a cash bar as well as penny auction and game prizes.
