STPC will hold a chili cook-off contest for anyone interested in submitting their homemade chili. CJ FIRST CANDLE: The Kinsella-Hooper families will host the 7th annual fundraiser for CJ First Candle, a national organizati­on committed to research on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and other infant deaths, April 29. Shane Morehouse Kinsella died in May 2008 of SIDS, which still remains the cause of death to more than 2,300 babies a year for no explainabl­e reason. Events include a 5-mile run and 2-mile walk at 11 a.m. at Camp Cochipiane­e on Beach Street in Goshen.
