BANDS AND BEANS: Litchfield High School’s StudentTeacher-Parent-Council (STPC) will host the first annual Battle of the Bands & Beans on Friday, April 28 at the Litchfield High School. The Loft, a popular local band, made up of high school students will battle in music and songs against HoWiE Roll, the rock band made up of LHS faculty and staff. STPC will hold a chili cook-off contest for anyone interested in submitting their homemade chili. Tastings will begin at 6 p.m. and music at 6:45 p.m. Members of LHS student council and clubs, will offer a variety of snacks and sweets for purchase. Admission is $8, and children 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
