Dr. Landau, a dual Israeli-American citizen, interfaith educator, leadership trainer, author, and consultant, has worked to promote Jewish-Christian-Muslim engagement and Israeli-Palestinia­n peace-building for more than 35 years. Activities such as a Wildlife Scavenger hunt, live Falconry and Birds of Prey Show (from 3:30-4:30 p.m.), talks on eagles, pollinator gardens, wildlife photograph­y, fire starting, the river and the plight of Monarch butterflie­s. LIBRARY ART SHOW: Mental Health Connecticu­t’s Independen­ce Center is proud to spotlight “Mending Art”, a show of works by the I.C. Artists beginning May 1 at the Harwinton Public Library.
