In preparing for this week’s article, I thought about the Chamber’s significance and some of the initiatives that will make a difference for you and your business.

“What’s In It For You?”

This question is often asked and quite fair because you should know the value and benefits you receive from the Chamber. Here is an event that will benefit businesses and the community at large. It replaces what a number of you remember as our Business Expo at the Armory and the Festival at the Goshen Fairgrounds. It’s The Great Giveaway Business Showcase on Thursday, June 1 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chatterley’s Banquet Facility, 371 Pinewoods Road, Torrington. The spotlight will focus on a variety of businesses located throughout the region and beyond.

It’s new and different and will benefit businesses and guests alike. First of all, we must thank the generous event and media sponsors who are helping business work together.
