Volunteers needed for Paint the People

-

NEW MILFORD >> Village Center for the Arts’ Paint The People, (PTP17), festival will be held June 10, 12-8 p.m. at the John Pettibone School Field.

The festival offers a variety of activities for people of all ages, all of which include both unusual and traditional uses of paint, with the chance for you to get a little, (or a lot), messy. This year, we will host new on-site artists, as well as a wonderful selection of music from our local bands. VCA’s mission is to provide a nurturing environment for artistic creativity and development through fine arts programs and events for all ages.

Since there will be so many events, activities and booths featured at Paint The People, volunteers are needed to help run the function. There are a vast amount of time-slots available for volunteers of all ages to sign up and we welcome anyone who is willing to lend a hand. Volunteers can work all day, a portion of the day, or during prep work and breakdown in the weeks before and after PTP17.

Anyone who is interested in becoming a part of this art spectacular is asked to contact Volunteer Coordinator Maria Volonte at mariav.vca@gmail.com.

Activity bands will be available for purchase online shortly, at paintthepeople.org. Sponsors are welcome. For general information, contact vca@villagecenterarts.com or call 860-354-4318.
