Farm Art Festival returns June 11

BETHLEHEM >> The second annual Farm Art Festival, “Inspired by Nature,” will be held Sunday, June 11, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Gary The Olivia Theater 249 Flanders Road.

Local foods, wine, craft beer, painting, ceramics, crafts and music come together at the festival. “Inspired By Nature” is the theme and local artists, small farms, artisan food producers and Clay & Wattles Theater Company will participat­e – all inspired by nature and contributi­ng to our area’s vibrant cultural life.

Special guests include cheese and wine experts, Mother Noella Marcellino, (a.k.a. The Cheese Nun) and Certified Sommelier, Sally Camm, who will team up for a Q&A on all things cheese and wine. Shelburne Farms of Vermont will present award winning farmstead cheddars, Boston Post Dairy of Vermont will offer their award winning goat’s milk cheeses and Chef Philippe Niez of Vermont’s Woodstock Inn will provide samples of his artisan chocolates and create one of his signa-

ture desserts. Special guests will be joined by local artists Melody Asbury, Marc Chabot Suzan Scott and Kate Pomeroy displaying and selling their art work and local food artisans including Winding Drive Jams, Savor Cookies, Carrot Top Kitchens, Whimsical Olive Branch Oils, Ovens of France, Lake Wine and Spirits and Artisan Made America among others.

Musical entertainm­ent will be provided by Charles Smith on keyboard and singers Katie Keough and Tom Camm from the Clay & Wattles Theater Company.

Admission is $12 online only through June 1 at www.thegarythe­olivia.com or $15 at the gate the day of the festival. * Children eleven years and younger free.
