John Mayall making stops next week in Connecticut

Musician John Mayall, “The Godfather of British Blues,” is set to perform two concerts in Connecticut next week. On Thursday, June 1, Mayall will appear at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Old Saybrook, followed by a second show n Saturday, June 3 at Infinity Music Hall in Norfolk.

Mayall has had an impressive musical career that spans over 50 years. The English blues singer, pianist, harmonica player, guitarist, and songwriter founded the band, John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers in the 1960s, a band whose members included many celebrated blues and blues rock guitarists, such as Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Jack Bruce, Mick Taylor, Walter Trout,Coco Montoya and Buddy Whittington.
