TORRINGTON >> The Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce will hold The Great Giveaway Business Showcase on Thursday, June 1, 5-8 p.m. at Chatterley’s Banquet Facility (formerly The Cornucopia), 371 Pinewoods Road, Torrington.

The event is open to the public and includes free admission, free parking, freefood and a cash bar. The event will feature more than 50 vendors, each with a door prize for attendees to enter to win. Some of the door prizes being offered include: an Apple Watch, foursome of golf with cart at Mohegan Sun Golf Club (worth more than $1000), wine & chocolate tasting for 25 people at Miranda Vineyards, an Amazon Echo, UCONN Basketball tickets, a grill & fire pit from Lowe’s, gift certificates, gift baskets, and more. No purchase is necessary to win. Stop by from 6-7 pm to meet Jonathan the Husky from UCONN. The first 100 attendees will also receive a free gift.
